I'm starting a creative class for children in the new year and I was just ponderig the age groups.

Would it be acceptable to have ages 7-10 together and then 11-15 together?

The activities would be visal arts...generally creative stuff, but also involve writing.

Yes, but I'd describe it in school year groups, so the younger class would be (English) years 3-6 and the older years 7-10. I think those age 11 are often better with their school cohort.

Yep, split by primary and secondary year groups. So Y7+, and years 3/4/5/6, which are all key stage 2.
