Harassed at petrol station

At supermarket petrol station earlier. OH is partially sighted. I'd parked at pump and filled. Car at pump in front had moved in this time. OH gets very anxious if I move from last position. So I'm waiting while he's paying.

In meantime, TWO woman hammer on my window and order me to move. I tell them to wait or go round me. To which they tut and call me rude, getting into their cars and blasting their horns. I told them OH has a disability and I'd on,y be waiting a min or 2.

AIBU? Or are They?

They were rude cheeky bitches. I wouldn't have moved either

ScreamingValenta · 29/11/2017 20:49

YANBU, they were. It's hardly rare to have to wait while someone goes to pay in a petrol station!

Missonihoni · 29/11/2017 21:14

Ergh if you see them again tell them to F off. Don't stop doing what is best for your OH. F everyone else.

Namechangetempissue · 29/11/2017 21:16

YANBU, they were rude arseholes.
Seems to be the day for it!

SilverdaleGlen · 29/11/2017 21:16

They were rude! Also partially sighted or not I never move off the pump until it's been paid now anyway after twice being charged a different persons fuel! And having to sort out the whole faff of it Angry

AssassinatedBeauty · 29/11/2017 21:17

They were rude, intolerant and impatient. Sorry you had to put up with that. I find it astonishing that people can be so self absorbed as to think it's ok to behave like that.

Splinterz · 29/11/2017 21:20

You don't move your car until the fuel has bee paid for. The pump doesn't reset until the last bill is paid.

Mittens1969 · 29/11/2017 21:22

They were very rude, don't let people like that get to you.
