have shared it with my freinds thanks --aw shame!!

Ambi · 20/04/2007 11:45

No, I thought it was very funny, it was in the paper yesterday - the way they described it was like he was bungee-d by the rope, but they had a pic of him and said Victim: as if he'd died, felt bit guilty, but he survived without a scratch

DimpledThighs · 20/04/2007 11:46

it's funny - he was fine so it's funny.

Beauregard · 20/04/2007 11:48

No not unreasoanble

casbie · 20/04/2007 11:49

omg - that would be my worst nightmare, being thrown around a fairground ride, with straps on.

: )

it must of been his weight tho'

he!

GreebosWhiskers · 20/04/2007 12:00

Just the headline made me choke on my eggy sarnie! It doesn't really need a pic - just the mental image is funny enough pmsl

chocolattegirl · 20/04/2007 12:08

The Daily Mail named him yesterday. Poor sod. His mum described him as being 'slight' hence him flying into the belfry with the rope - that'll go down well at his school .

I know where that Church is as well - bet the local paper will have him on the front page next Thursday.

IcingOnTheCake · 20/04/2007 12:09

I suspect he learned his lesson!

chocolattegirl · 20/04/2007 12:10

Re the slingshot - surely there's a weight limit on those things??!

Bet he was cacking himself

singingmum · 20/04/2007 12:11

My DD is telling me off for LOLing at this

shouldbedoingsomethingelse · 20/04/2007 12:14

my DS (aged 10)is just about to start learning bell ringing and I think you are all mean and nasty, poor lad!

OrmIrian · 20/04/2007 12:14

Christ! Why is it funny? He could have broken his neck. Once the stay breaks the bell just swings round and round and the rope winds up like a bobbin. He was lucky that he didn't just fly up hit the roof of the ringing chamber crack his skull open and then fall back down and break both legs.

Why is it funny? Don't understand.....is it the context?

claireabo · 20/04/2007 12:31

lol
