Has anyone read "raising boys" that could give me advice about how to deal with a strong 4 year old that doesn't understand the rules of playfighting and ends up very emotional when he gets told off in front of his peers for kicking them. He is usually doing it in self defence but the other mums think playfighting is healthy and ok if my son gets hurt. I end up upset and v embarrassed at play group but don't want to stop going as I know he'll have to deal with it when he starts school.
