My lovely son has become horrible. Swearing, aggressive, mean and arrogant.

And it's me. I feel like I've done it.

How old is he? Why do you feel it’s your fault?

sandytime · 28/11/2017 16:58

Why is it your fault op?

Why do you feel it's your fault?

As mothers we do the very best we can with what we have. Try not to be hard on yourself x

I think you need to given us more information really.

How old is he? Might he be having problems at school? Does he have other siblings he's not getting on with at the moment? Are you and his father having problems in your relationship? Are any of you having health problems at the moment?

yellowbirds · 28/11/2017 17:03

I feel like he's just turning into a mini version of his dad, and I feel awful saying that, but sometimes he says something and sounds like his dad. I know he doesn't mean it.

So. Are you and his dad still together?

If so, does your OH behave badly towards you in front of your son and your DS is picking up on this and mirroring his dad's behaviour?

Or, if you and the father of your of your DS are no longer together, is your DS hearing stuff from your XH/P about you and repeating it to you later?
