To ask what Christmas present to get for second cousin?!

Hi everyone,

My Mum's cousin's son and his wife are visiting with their son for Christmas this year. No idea what to get for the son Confused AIBU to ask you what I could buy the son for Christmas?

He's 10, but I've no idea what he likes or is interested in. Can't afford to spend that much money as I'm job-hunting and also have 11 other family members to buy for.

Any ideas what I could get him please? I was thinking some sort of chocolate and/or sweets with something else small? Any ideas what that could be?

Thanks :)

Budget christmas pjs (can get for £5-£10 from supermarkets) and a tube of christmassified sweets for £1?

Oooh good idea Little :) thanks! No idea what clothes size he is though! He's 10 and turning 11 in March, so should I just get the 10-11 size?

2nd cousin once removed?
Anyway maybe an amazon voucher?

I'd get age 10-11. Alternatively christmas slipper socks - cheaper and less risk of getting the wrong size?

Noooooo. Not xmas pjs- pointless at Christmas as it’s over and boring for a child to receive!!

Sweets- great idea, always goes down well. What about a tin money bank from the pound shop as well with £5 worth of coins in it. And then £4 spent on chocolate/sweets. =£10

Iceland do a mini sweet shop with small jars of sweets for £6

Thanks so much for your ideas, everyone :)

I think I'll go with:
Christmas slipper socks
Chocolate coins
Sweets
