WIBU to think as woman in my forties, that I could retrain and get a role in tech?
I’ve been a SAHM since my youngest daughter was born two years ago. Prior to that , I worked at a university in a student support role. I’ve already got a BA and a masters.
To keep my brain going, I’ve taken a few course in IT and computing with the OU and ,on other( free )sites. I’ve found that I’m really enjoying it, especially the porgramming side.
If I continued with the full OU degree , or did an MSC conversion course at my local Uni ( with placement - which I think would be the better route ) would I have any chance of getting a job in this field? I think I would be at least 46/47 when I got finished.
Are there any computing types that could advise?
