Was booked into a £50 work related dinner on saturday. Southern trains were nearly two hours late - making it pointless for me to attend. In the end I abandoned it and went home. I was given half my ticket price back. In all the stations I was shoved back and forth from i was never asked to show my ticket. AIBU to wish I hadn't bothered buying one?!
