Bash me for it not being a 'true' AIBU if you want, but consider it a public service announcement for traffic/anyone who suffers from bloody vertigo.
Obviously the usually disclaimers about medical advice/seeing a dr/don't listen to crap on the internet BUT...a pharmacist suggested taking a basic, over the counter allergy/hay fever med with Cetirizine in it, and it's completely got rid of my sicky, can't stand up vertigo within 15 minutes.
It might be well known, but I didn't know about it, despite having suffered for years, so the chances that others don't. It's not necessarily a longterm fix, but if a sudden bout stops you driving/walking/working/taking care of kids etc. it's AMAZING.
