Yes more circumstances needed - I’m being mopey and pathetic. Yes I can’t be with them/don’t even know if they like me but currently lusting after them - feeling lonely and bored shit

If you're anything like me this is more a distraction from what you should be doing than anything else.

Set yourself a deadline to get a certain amount of work done and then reward yourself somehow.

What about an early evening walk to get you out of the house as well?
