Hi mumsnetters. Would appreciate any thoughts, practical advice and in all honesty, kind words. Recently - about a week ago - a supplier I've been in a small payment dispute with (work not delivered to spec, invoiced incorrect amount, etc.) posted on social media that I am a fraudster and not to do business with me. They took it down as soon as I asked them to and demanded I paid the disputed amount (couple hundred euros) within two hours or they would continue a 'campaign' against me on social media. Being totally freaked out I paid up. Since then I have been feeling ill - painful chest and stomach. Thoughts are rushing through my mind and I'm getting somewhat overwhelmed - my career and business are over, people suspect me, I can no longer post as myself in the industry groups he posted in. One in particular is adminned by a client of mine. Beyond overwhelmed by stress!

HelenasAlexandria I have no real advice but just want to send you Flowers. What a ghastly situation. I wish I had some advice but I did not just want to read and run. xxx
