Anyone had this with a filling before?

(Posting here for traffic)

Finally went to the dentist and was told I needed 3 small fillings, considering it had been years upon years, over 15 years since I had last been, I felt okay with this. Shelled out for composite fillings which were really expensive but my mum paid for half of it. Anyways had the fillings and taken a mirror to look at what's been done and one of the fillings has joined with another tooth. There would be no way to floss or clean between these two teeth. Has anyone had this happen before?

Also the bit where the filling joins the other tooth feels sharp.

I guess I should call them up tomorrow and see if there's anything that can be done about it, but I just wanted to see if this had happened to anyone before and if so what you did.

Thanks

No never happened to me. Sounds like over fill to me and they should adjust it at no extra charge.

try flossing - don't go on appearances.

They're often a bit sharp at first, they usually wear down.

I’ve got one a bit like that, but it’s more filling than tooth (not much left to floss anyway). I wouldn’t expect it for more minor work.

Don’t floss, use the tiny interdental brushes instead. My dentist sad they are more effective and even with my closely packed teeth I can use them.
