Started a new job recently and it's been a real struggle with some of the staff. Apparently the environment has a high bullying culture.... if only I'd known... Some of the staff are really nice and thankfully have made some of my days bearable.
As Christmas is coming up the works party is looming. I was already planning not to go. I would have made an effort but it's on an inconvenient day for me, I have children. But my manager who is the most pompous rude and horrible individual has been inviting staff and excluding me. AIBU to feel annoyed by this?
