I’m probably not posting in the right place - happy to request this to be moved if necessary.
I’m a reasonable intelligent woman but financial stuff baffles me. I put off reading emails from my accountant or phoning them up because I feel so out of my depth. I really need help to take control.
I’m a freelancer with a decent but very variable income. I can make a budget and pretty much stick to it - the day to day stuff isn’t the issue. However, I don’t own any property, don’t have savings and have several pensions from previous jobs that I no longer pay into.
I set up a limited company and have an accountant (who sorts out my VAT, corporation tax and personal tax liability).
I feel like I need to talk to someone about pensions and savings advice. Is this something my accountant should help with? Do I need a financial adviser? Where do I find one? Do I have to pay for financial advice?
Thanks in advance.
