Cluttered and messy

My DH just walked after I put DD down for a nap and says this looks cluttered and messy, told him to shut up and go away. Do you think this is cluttered and messy?

It looks like a play area.

insomniac123 · 15/11/2017 15:03

It is! It’s her Play area at work, and I thought it’s actually quiet tidy!

not particularly

blackteasplease · 15/11/2017 15:06

He sounds like a dick. Why does he get to tell you stuff?

BatteredBreadedOrSouthernFried · 15/11/2017 15:08

He’s a weirdo. Is he familiar with children? Confused

insomniac123 · 15/11/2017 15:12

Lol, he wasn’t suggesting or even telling me to tidy it! And I would be quiet happy to tell him to tidy it himself and he would. Just thought it wasn’t remotely cluttered or tidy. And we have 4 DC so yes he is aware of the typhoon of rubbish they leave about!

I'm a bit of a neat freak so to me it is. However, even I managed to put up with our living room looking like that when DD was that age. I would have tidied it all away when she was in bed though.

I couldn't have coped with 4 children though.

Sirzy · 15/11/2017 15:21

Tell him to tidy it then

RunRabbitRunRabbit · 15/11/2017 15:31

I'd say that's OK. Especially as it's not bedtime yet.

What was the purpose of his comment?

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 15/11/2017 15:34

The only response is 'well volunteered I'll inspect it later'.

insomniac123 · 15/11/2017 15:37

@shouldwestayorshouldwego love it!

I’d literally just put her down for a nap. It is our place of work, but in comparison to his office it’s a blooming palace!

I always tidy at the end of the day and probably about 4/5 hundred times throughout so it is tidy.

I just couldn’t see the clutter or real mess.

Scabbersley · 15/11/2017 15:38

yes its a tiny bit messy

but I'd literally punch dh in the throat if he said that to me

Myheartbelongsto · 15/11/2017 23:51

Aw that's a lovely room op.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 15/11/2017 23:54

What? Confused
You can see floor therefore not messy.
You're welcome Wink

RefuseTheLies · 15/11/2017 23:59

It's not at all messy or untidy, but the annoying twat that I am, I'd feel compelled to put the pink lid back, straighten the drawer and move the table and chair so that they are lined up properly I hate myself sometimes
