What to pack for week abroad?

Really rubbish AIBU but would be grateful for any help please :)

I'm going away abroad for a week in a couple of days, so just making a list of what I need to pack.

So far, I've got:

Passport and boarding passes

Clothes
Toiletries and make-up
Hairdryer
Towels

Adaptor
Phone, phone charger and phone power-pack
Laptop and laptop charger.

Any ideas about what else I might need please (or if there's anything really obvious that I'm forgetting?) :)

Depends what you are doing!

If you are going skiing you need way different stuff to a city break or for a beech holiday.

I usually take earplugs and pain killers too.

Credit or debit card

Will be cool up there near the mountains. Bring layers of clothes and a warm jacket at least.

Where are you staying? Surely you won't need towels or a hairdryer? You can buy anything anywhere now, so don't stress on forgetting some item, you will survive for a week!

I would have thought that the hosts/employer would provide you with a list of things to bring etc. and what you will have when there.

My absolutes are mix and match clothes, PJs, cheapo throw away slippers, electronics and ipad. Kindle is on that.

Money

Mini first aid kit including pain killers.
Money/card and emergency credit card.
Will you be hiring a car? Driving licence.
Another adapter might be useful.
