This might be a bit controversial but... at the risk of starting a massive Christmas-themed bun fight, it beats the John Lewis advert hands down IMO.

I could live without the 'she's lovely but she's clumsy' trope, to be honest. Patronising as all get out.

Uh, it leaves me cold tbh. I much prefer the Martin Freeman one.

Ahh just seen the Vodafone advert! Love Martin Freeman :) if it's any consolation, I think this year's John Lewis advert is shite. The Waitrose one might be my absolute favourite though - so cosy and lovely, and didn't seem that clichéd.

Many of these stores seem intent on telling a shitty naff 'story' and not actually telling us what they sell or how much anything is!
