Over zealous homework?

DD is in nursery. They normally get 'homework' every week. Twice now though I have had to collect DD early, once because she was sick and once she'd had an accident.

Both times before I took her home a member of staff has found her book and stuck in the homework for her to take before she goes. After her accident this was while another staff member was cleaning up the blood and I was getting DD ready to go to A&E with a head injury! AIBU to think that this is a bit much?

It's parents evening next week so WIBU to say this is ridiculous?

They probably get other parents complaining if its not stuck in every week! Just say "don't worry about it, I'm not bothered" if you don't want to wait.

Nursery?? I wouldn't agree to homework at that age

Ofsted is very keen on seeing 'home learning' and engaging with parents in nurseries, so some kind of activities sent home is pretty standard now. You don't have to do it.
