DDs 6th birthday party tomorrow after school. Invitations handed out 2 weeks ago to 15 classmates and only 10 have replied. AIBU to think it's rude not to reply one way or the other?

Ooooh! This really gets my goat too! Why do people not reply???? Confused I don't know OP but it's infuriating! We r currently in process of waiting for replies for DS party in a couple of weeks! Smile

Drives me mad. Happened at my daughter's party and 3 of them turned up without RSVPing! Angry

Same thing happened here. So rude!

10 out of 15! I actually think that's pretty good.

20 invites given out here and 1 response in two weeks. 1! And then when I casually asked if they'd got the invite they said "oh yes, thanks". And?! Are you coming or not?! ARGH!!!

I feel your pain!

I've assumed if they haven't replied they're not coming. I've had to tell the venue exact numbers and buy food etc so I'm not going to be happy if they just turn up!
