To ask how much you pay for a cleaner?

If you have a cleaner, how much do you pay and what do you get for your money? If you are a cleaner, how much do you charge?
We have a medium size 3 bed semi if that makes a difference in pricing? I would imagine area in the UK makes a difference too?

£12 per hour, pay by the hour. I have three hours on a Friday through a service and then my old cleaner who has had to cut back her hours still does three hours on a Monday.

Same as above - £12 per hour and we have three hours per week for a 2 bed terrace.

Thanks for this thread! I'm a cleaner and now realize that I need to charge more. I only get £8 an hour and for a four bedroom house I need at least 3.5 hours for a full clean including two bathrooms and kitchen.
I'm in the Bristol area, but, yes. I really do need to charge more!

I pay £11 per hour but my cleaner now charges new customers £12. Near me £9-12 seems to be the going rate.

Should say my old cleaner only asks for £10 but I feel I should pay her the same as I pay the service so pay her £12. I was paying the service £11 but they increased the price recently once they had to auto enrol their staff into pensions. This is E Mids.

I pay £12.50/hour and would pay more. She does 2 hours per week and I wouldn't be without her.

£9-£10 in the Midlands. The size of house just seems to depend on how long they are there for, not time cleaning

I just found a new cleaner after moving who seems great.
She is £12 ph but said she could do it in 3.5 rather than 5 hours quoted by previous cleaners - who were great but 5 hours seemed excessive

We pay £32 for 3.5 hours every week plus £42 a month to the agency

This includes cleaning/mopping the floors, cleaning bathroom and kitchen, changing two beds, ironing

We're in south west london
