Yes, I know you aren't doctors but its Sunday and I'm just curious to see if anyone recognises this rash. Came up on dd2 this morning. She's completely well otherwise, no temp, eating well, fine in all other ways. She's had chicken pox and I'm confident its not that. Its on her bum, back of her legs, tummy and tops of her feet.

My DS is just getting over HFM and his legs looked like that, was all done his legs, bum and on feet, soles, hands and palms

LittleBirdBlues · 05/11/2017 18:49

That could definitely be hand foot and mouth. Both my kids have had this. It's no serious other than of its in their mouth feeding becomes tricky for a few days.

Tops of feet indicates HFM... any on wrists or around mouth too? Went through my class like wildfire last year

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 05/11/2017 20:35

I noticed a few on her palms before bed, think its safe to say its HFM then. Hoping ds (8months) and dd1 (5) skip it but I'm doubtful. They share...everything lol

If it's on her mouth and possibly inside her mouth it could be HFM. Dd caught it at 18 month last Xmas and then gave it to me! Mine wasn't so bad and started with just itching on my hands. The doctors told me not to come in though. DD had a sore mouth for a few days and that's it tbh. I was fine just contagious.

Looks like Hfm to me x
