Ryanair kids car seat

Posting here for traffic, sorry.

We’re flying with Ryanair on Wednesday with a 2.5 yr old and a baby.

Currently having a panic about car seats, it’s the first time we’ve flown with them with dd1 in a proper seat, subject to proper luggage rules etc. Babies get 2 items of baby equipment free (eg car seat, pram) but I can’t find any info about car seats for the older child, and we need to take one. I can’t find any useful info on the website.

Does anyone know how I go about this? Are car seats still free or do I need to buy an extra bag and take it as this?

Thanks Smile

According to the website you can bring a car seat for a child over 2 free of charge but you need to contact the airline to arrange that and ensure the seating is suitable for a carseat:

www.ryanair.com/gb/en/useful-info/help-centre/faq-overview/Travelling-with-children/Im-travelling-with-an-infant-is-there-anything-i-should-know (the very last paragraph at the bottom of the article is the relevant one)
