To be worried about DH setting up his own company?

NC due to nature of post!

DH has just set up his own company. I'm really supportive as although we have big life changes coming up and in some ways timing isn't ideal, we also think it's a bit now or never and he has I think been very sensible about it all and seems to be off to a good start.

So the AIBU surprisingly isn't financial, but for some irrational reason I'm afraid that down the line when he has big customers, female employees etc there's an increased risk to our marriage

I think I'm only thinking this because my Dad and his business partner started a company about the same time and both ended up having affairs with female employees and divorcing - though to their credit both are still with the OW and now married, so perhaps it's more a reflection on their original marriage rather than the specific circs of running your own small business!

Does anyone have any experience of happily, long termed married couples where DH has a small (or large!) business?

I think you know that just because your father did it doesn't mean your DH will too but there must be some reason your trust in him is like this right now?
I would think it's either your own self confidence needs improving or perhaps your DH has done something to make you think he could do such a thing?
Does he have form for anything like this? Flirting or perhaps bringing your confidence down in any way?

Does he have female colleagues now?

He did, but I guess he didn't work so closely with them as he might in a different situation

Nothing at all that he's done, and I don't expect it now... I just have this fear that in the future I'll lose him and everything else should a refreshing, alluring secretary appear! I guess that's my own self esteem though!
