I think I need a good shake and to be told to pull myself together so posting here.
I had my smear test a few weeks ago and had my results come in a few weeks ago. It wasn’t the usual “you’re fine see you in a while” it was please come to the hospital for tests and your app is in 2 days.
I was on holiday last week in Italy and I opened the letter the day we flew out. I called my mum and she told me to go and call to reschedule app. I did that and I’m due to go for my tests this Friday.
There’s a lot of information online about the tests and I’m worried about cervical cancer. I’ve had the HPV vaccine and have been with DH for 7 years. I’m freaking out that there’s something wrong with me. We haven’t been fortunate enough to have kids yet and I’m worried that I might not be able to.
Has anyone been through this? How did it go?
