To drink wine from a pint glass?

How lazy/chavvy does that make me? I want to watch a film and don't want to go to the fridge every 20 minutes to get another glass so I've decided to have a pint of white wine spritzer. And it's lovely.

I feel like I've been missing a trick here. What lazy things do you do that most people would scoff at?

Oh shit, I have straws but no umbrellas. Unless a minion straw would classy it up a bit? My pint glass also has 'Super Dad' emblazoned on it.

This reminds me of a patient I looked after years ago. Her wound was playing up for ages after surgery and she was in and out for weeks at a time as they tried to heal it. She was young and loved socialising, so she was always getting out for the night/for the weekend. Her Consultant used to make her promise no more than one glass of wine. And she would look him in the eye and swear that she had only had one glass.
She had. But it was a glass that held a whole bottle! A friend had bought it for her.
Ooo, she was naughty, but we loved her! We all went to her 40th.

Surely you just take the wine bottle out of the fridge and keep topping your favourite glass up?

It stays colder that way too, as the bottle will be cold from sitting in the fridge.

I often drink red wine out of a tumbler so I can pretend that I am on holiday in France.

Pint glass seems genius to me.

Got a straw, the minions have obviously taken themselves off to the pub tonight because I can't find it anywhere but a nice blue straw will do.

A pint of red wine would be odd to me but a pint of white wine spritzer seems to be acceptable because it’s sparkly lol.

Definitely white, I am no wine expert but I'm pretty sure red is Satan's sweat.

And I have had the wine in the freezer so it's icy cold when I pour it and to be honest I'm such a greedy fucker that it doesn't get time to warm up before I need a refill.

So why the fuck every time I taste it, does it slide sweetly down my throat...gaining my confidence and fooling me into thinking that this time it's going to taste lovely.

It just tastes disgusting and god knows I've given it enough chances to redeem itself.

I may have drunk wine from a tannin-stained mug before now.

It's not like I don't have an array of wine glasses even an awful glitter covered one someone bought me from one of those facebook pages it's just that I'm lazy. This really isn't a good idea though because I am feeling tipsier than usual and I have to pee way more often so I am up and down just as often as I would have been with a normal glass.

And I have heartburn. Sigh.

I’m not sure why I haven’t thought of this strategy!!! Wine in a pint glass. Perfect.

However perhaps Ice is the way forward? Unless like me, having a pint of wine would mean drinking it at super speed, then I wouldn’t worry.
