To lock drunk DH out

DH drinks to much and came home yesterday at 1am, leaving front door ajar and his key in the door.

I am livid that DD and I were asleep and at risk from a passerby potentially entering our property.

We've had Relate counselling but he still drinks a lot.

I need to feel safe. What are my rights?

Blunt, I know, but ltb? That is your right. You cannot risk your safety because he's getting pissed.

We own it as Tenants in Common in unequal shares

No, not when the weather forecast is freezing. Seriously, if he's that drunk it's not safe.
