Wine, chocolate and trashy films are your friends! I know just how you feel. Here it's me and my two children and on the (very rare) occasions where it's just me here, despite fantasising about "me time," I hate the silence and long for them to be home, squabbles and all!

God, sounds like bliss

Wine. Chocolate. Cheesy film/stupid comedy/documentary everyone else in the house hates. Snuggle with dog. Sounds like heaven.

Enjoy. They'll all be back soon so make the most of it!

I do get a bit spooked when the house it totally empty at night. Having spent the last 25 years with at least one person at home it does feel a bit odd.

I'd be (more than) fine if I had a dog with me though Smile
