AIBU? Eye-Bu? Am I Being Unreasonable?

How do you read AIBU? Do you think "am I being unreasonable" in your head or try to pronounce "Aibu"?

I usually think "Ay-eye-boo" to myself, but sometimes the long version.

I read it eye-boo. I read YANBU as yan-boo. I read YABU as ya-boo (with a short a sound).

Nothing other than the letters. This goes back to that really interesting thread a couple of months ago where the OP was asking people if they read words aloud in their heads when reading. It was put a lot more eloquently than that Blush

Ooooh now you’ve just made me think I don’t read words in my head at all. There’s no physical words heard in there just reading and then understanding never thought about it before. How bizarre. I do hear the words as I’m writing though as I’ve just discovered.

I definitely pronounce them in my head.

If I've seen a film and then read the book after, I "hear" the voices of the actors for each character. Same with TV or audiobook.
