Do aibu posts get more replies??

I made a post on the working thread but it doesn't show on the active posts and only one ( thank you for that) reply. Yet aibu posts seem to get loads. I did get a lot of help on a property issue but can't remember where I posted.

Yes they do. Which is why there are posts such as

"AIBU to think this spot is infected?"

Because if they posted it in health, they'd wait a month for a response!

I think it's partly because aibu is a popular topic and has the generally popular threads, eg parking/cf threads, so more people go straight to aibu when they're on mn so there's more chance of aibu threads being seen and replied to.

Other topics are used but not as often. As pp said posting in health can mean waiting days/weeks for replies to questions that need a quick answer so people post in aibu for the traffic.
