To change DDs middle name

She is starting preschool so I am filling in forms with her full name a lot.

It's dhs mum's name and it is a real 50s name. I just don't like it and it doesn't go with her first name. Other children have beautiful names and hers sounds clunky and misplaced.

What does your DH think?

Seems pointless to me as its only a middle name.

I personally wouldn't change it because you must have liked it at the time to have used it. What is the name, OP?

I think you risk really upsetting people you love. You only fill in these horns occasionally; try to forget about it.

Just don’t include middle names. I never include my middle name on any forms.

If it helps I think those names are due a massive come back.

Given that the OP posted this five years ago, I imagine she's already come to a decision on this...

Super random to change a middle name at this point imo.
