To be concerned about the children next door (light hearted thread)

I don’t like lighthearted in the thread title but I thought it necessary

Next door is what could be politely termed a ‘chaotic’. Nice enough people but they are forever crashing about the place and shouting all hours. Honestly. I’ve yet to wake up in the night and not hear them. It’s not a problem really. We notice it but that is just family life.

The mum and dad have gone away leaving an early 20 lad, a 16/17 year old girl and a 14 year old girl.

It is silent. A little bit of normal noise during the day but that is it. Not a peep after about 10pm.
What is going on?

I’m grateful and don’t want to jinx it but what is this all about.
AIBU to be a little disappointed with today’s teens?

Haha, maybe it's the parents making the noise at night. In a loving way Blush

Poor kids are probably enjoying the peace Wink

It’s not that kind of noise.
Not unless it involves going up and down the stairs and slamming doors.

If it's anything like my house they will have friends over and keeping them selves to them selves until the parents return and the rules are back in place.

I can gaurentee your peace equals a very trashed house house keeping wise.
