Anyone else getting really annoyed by the constant adverts..

...coming half way down the screen every time you click onto a page. It is seriously putting me off coming on here and then I'll have nothing to do all evening

Was just wondering what was with the adverts today, as it wasn't like this yesterday!
I have a bar that comes halfway down the screen obscuring nearly all the thread every time I change page or refresh.
Seriously, seriously annoying!!!

Exactly the same here. I'm ready to throw my mumsnet towel in. Its so irritating and time consuming!

I’m on the webpage on a tablet. I’m not getting that. The top ad ribbon is a bit deeper than usual, but that’s all.

On a normal laptop. Thing is, I wouldn't buy from any of the companies advertising because they are annoying me so much.

I moved the task bar from the bottom of the screen to the side. It has helped a bit (laptop).

How do you do that please? I can't cope with this....irrational I know!

This worked for me.
Right click on that bar of icons at the bottom, in one of the gaps.
Select unlock task bar.
left click on the bar and drag it to the side of the screen.

Its still happening all the time, couldn't change the bar thingy.

Its really putting me off being on this site.

There is enough bloody adverts down the side let alone coming down from the top!!

Me too -on a laptop as well. It is really infuriating. I could put up with the advert once, but every time you go to a new page is irritating in the extreme

It's rubbish. I have an add blocker but it doesn't get rid of the big white bar taking up half the page for over 5 seconds.

Thing is - I did occasionally click on an advert before, You know, before they annoyed the absolute fuck out of me by coming halfway down the page.

Fuck the fuck off. Mumsnet - seriously! This is counter productive. I am way less likely to be swayed by these adverts.

Driving me batty on the laptop. Using the app on iPad is much preferable.

No. Adblocker. No ads for me.

I use google chrome with adblock installed.

I know sites need the adverts for funds and I don't mind small ones, but intrusive pop up ones do my tree in.
