It’s not an AIBU really but just need to park some thoughts.
We are going through a “surprise” restructure at work (LA). Was announced mid last month.
Am now in a position where I have to reapply for my own job although my actual role doesn’t really exist in the new structure, so have to reapply for something different.
I have a role which I gained with my experience and have done for 7 years I do not have a degree, most of my colleagues do, and we are all being pitted against each other.
I am going to have to apply before I go away on honeymoon in a few weeks and won’t know the outcome until I get back.
Urgh have just been looking at the application form now - it is so shit
Does anyone have any positive tales to tell me
