AIBU?

My DP has been divorced for nearly two years after his exw had an affair. We have been together for a year and all his family say how happy he is these days.
His elderly parents live some distance away and when we visited last month, we took a framed photo of us together at his mum's request, so she could display it alongside the many other photos she has of the family. I noticed she had removed the wedding photo of DP and his exw- not that she had been asked to, she had just done this herself .

We visited again a few days ago and our photo is nowhere to be seen, but the wedding photo is back on display. Both of DP's sisters have been divorced and none of their previous wedding photos are on display.

AIBU to feel a bit hurt about this?

What does your DP say? Does he want a photo of him and his ex wife (who cheated on him) on display in his parents house?
It’s really up to him to say something to his parents op.

YANBU but is it possible they've got confused if they're elderly? I'd get your DP to casually ask about the photo you gave them and maybe ask them to take the other one down if you both don't want it up

You would not be unreasonable to be mildly curious about the switcheroo. YABU to be so bothered by what other people, even relatives, choose to display in their home. And if you put your mind to it I'd bet you can think of several innocuous reasons for the change. In any case it sounds as if they bear you no ill will, so perhaps you could leave it as one of life's little mysteries.
