To be slightly irritated with dh

We have a skylight in the bathroom. We need a hook on a stick to open and close it. Apparently they're expensive so dh ordered a stick and a separate hook . Both arrived today. Hook does not fit on stick. Oh ffs.
He's not tight normally but for some reason is refusing to pay for a hook and a stick already assembled.

This was my husband too! And yet he continued to battle using the broom handle to open said windows (4 of them in the kitchen)

oh dear. Can it be bodged with some duck tape? Or will that cost more than the stick/hook combo?! Could you just order one yourself Stealth?

Broom handle, brilliant idea! I do worry I'd not be able to close it again though.
Feed I had planned to but didn't mention it to him. Now he's started its his job iyswim, and I'll upset him if I start interfering :) in the meantime I love a nice steamy shower
