Noisy Neighbours

AIBU Our Neighbours have been banging, drilling, knocking, scraping walls, knocked walls down, electricity stuff from 6.00 at times in the morning and late at night on occasions. This has been going on over three years and it's getting rather annoying to say the least. As a consolation prize they bought us a few years ago when the building was going on they bought us a 99p box of biscuits. They don't even have the decency to say that they will be doing work at that time of the morning, with an apology.

Look up information on noise disturbance on your local council website.

There might be regulations about building work restrictions/hours.

Also, contact the environmental noise officer. If you are lucky, some authorities can send someone around during unsociable hours to assess the disturbances.

Btw, keep a record of the disruption and the impact it is having on your day to day lives for further evidence.
