In love with my boss

I am very happily married - I love my husband - we have 3 children and we have a lovely family life. So why does my heart leap when I see my new boss? Why do I love getting his emails? I feel like a love sick teen. Nothing will ever happen between us - he is married too with a family. Has anyone else ever felt like this?

doesn't sound like you're "in love with" him. sounds like a sad little crush.

OP for what it's worth there is a guy in my office who makes me think the dirtiest of thoughts. He's a bit of a rough diamond and the things I'd like to do to him make me blush.

I am also married with a child and pregnant with no2 😂😂

5rivers7hills · 13/10/2017 17:57

Oh yikes thats a bad crush! It will pass :-)

tigercub50 · 13/10/2017 18:02

Enjoy it!

TheVanguardSix · 13/10/2017 18:02

It'll calm down- hopefully! Just don't let it get you into any hot water.
Nothing wrong with a harmless crush. It's so not a sad little crush- what a nasty comment! We don't shrivel up and go blind when we get married and have kids. We're human. Just as long as neither of you get silly or carried away with a mutual attraction, it's pretty harmless.

justanothermoment you're pregnant! You have a good excuse. I fancy anything that has a pulse when I'm pregnant! Grin

bianglala · 13/10/2017 18:08

I dont think you can help who you're attracted to. It will pass especially if he gives you many assignments and no pay raise Grin

Thanks for your kind replies lovely ladies. I'm sure you're right that it's a crush that will pass - it's just so out of character for me. I work in a heavily male dominated environment and most of the time I don't even really notice!

Makes going to work more enjoyable doesn’t it! I have sometimes tried to make myself fancy someone at work so that I actually want go there, sad I know!

justanothermomentintime · 13/10/2017 22:25

Oh twinkletoes I've thought naughty things about this guy looooooong before I was pregnant 😂
