Was really looking forward to visiting some family this weekend. However their DC have come down with a virus, chesty cough and very congested, seen by doc today and started antibiotics. We have a toddler, who also currently has a cough and cold.
Clearly I'm not going to bring the toddler as it's not fair on her if she got a worse illness.
My first thought was that I will go alone and leave toddler with DH but then I thought, am I at risk of picking up the virus and passing it on to DD, even if I don't get sick myself?
So AIBU going to visit the sick household??
