Ive got a weird thing, worse than a cold but not as bad a full blown flu.

I need tips to snap out of this ASAP as this is fucking awful timing.

Can you please share your tips for speeding up recovery?

Drink plenty of water, go to bed and rest. Eat if you feel like it.

OTC meds like paracetamol will ease the symptoms but won't make it pass any quicker.

You cannot fast track flu.

However, a very bad cold - wrap up warm, stay hot, do not take anything to lower your temperature or alleviate symptoms SO LONG AS YOU ARE OTHERWISE HEALTHY. Drink plenty of fluids.

Your body gets rid of viruses by heating up and producing snot/phlegm/mucus to get rid of it all from the body.

rest rest and more rest.
drink as much as you can manage.
as pp says, wrap up warm and lef your body do the work.
hope you feel better soon.

My tip is vitamin c , zinc and echinacea, seems to lessen symptoms and shorten the duration, it may be psychological but I swear by it

You can’t speed up recovery but staying dosed up on paracetomol always makes me feel far more human. And rest, plenty of rest!
