Scuffed leather boots what can I do

Spent 150 on some knee high leather boots I’ve scuffed them already mostly the right one. Is there anything I can do to fix them, I’ve put some crappy black polish on them and they look a liftle better but they still look scuffed. I was hoping they would last longer than 4 wears. Out to dinner twice and the supermarket and at home for the day

What? They're leather. Polish them properly!

Can you post a pic? Leather shoes are meant to last for ages and should not be ruined by a few scuffs.

Use a renovating shoe cream on them, then protector spray or traditional Dubbin after every polish.

Get proper boot polish in a tin and a stiff but. Then polish.

Give them a good polish or take them to a cobblers

You need to keep them polished at least once a week

Some recommend a full Tim of polish when you buy them

But that's unusual scuffs place? How did you do that?

MargotLovedTom1 · 09/10/2017 17:03

They're not exactly what you'd call ruined, and they'll come up fine with proper polish and a bit of elbow grease.

Mushybanna23 · 09/10/2017 17:04

I don’t even no how i did it used to have a huge selection of tins of polish but my dad has it all

You can buy specific scuff polish but they're not really scuffed. Just polish them properly.

Mushybanna23 · 09/10/2017 17:07

They don’t look scuffed due to the polish but did look a lot worse
