Pissed off

Got up early, have to travel 9am. Showered, couldn't find facial oil, slapped moisturiser on. Huddling in towel hoping to catch train in time

This sounds like my standard mornings - is there a reason it’s all pissing you off so much? Hope you feel better once you are on the train :)

Sirzy · 06/10/2017 07:25

What are you pissed off abojt?

UrsulaPandress · 06/10/2017 07:26

Why are you huddling in a towel?

What is facial oil?

9am isn't early.

BulletFox · 06/10/2017 07:27

No just a bit a pissed off, wet, unattractive and not feeling like going anywhere Grin

I only have to travel 1.5 hours and it's to see relations. You've reminded me of what the daily grind is like so I'll shuttup now.

U ok Hun xx ? xx

JeReviens · 06/10/2017 07:28

Wow. Yes. I can see why your whole world just crumbled at your feet.

Confused
MinervaSaidThat · 06/10/2017 07:31

So you don't have a daily grind, OP?

AngryGinger · 06/10/2017 07:33

Not to sound like my mother but maybe you'd have more chance of getting the train on time if you stopped huddling in a towel.

Flossy1978 · 06/10/2017 07:33

What a shallow thing to get pissed off about.

Feeling unattractive because you couldn't find whatever facial oil is?

What a tough life you must lead.

EdmundCleverClogs · 06/10/2017 07:35

Eh? Yabu I guess Confused

Squeegle · 06/10/2017 07:36

Oh give the girl a break, we all get pissed off now and again. Is this a support group or an attack group?

DelphiniumBlue · 06/10/2017 07:37

Is there something else? You're up in time, you've got moisturiser, is that you don't want to go on the visit?

BulletFox · 06/10/2017 07:37

No i dont JeViens!

I have quite severe agoraphobia after being attacked a few years ago and get nervous about going out of doors. At the same time I realise I'm as daft as a squirrel for letting it hold me back and I'd like to get on with life.

I'm just all showered and drying off and trying to prepare to travel.

sqeegle I think it’s just not clear why OP is pissed off. Everyone looks wet & unattrative after a shower. That’s why you get dry, get dressed & put some slap on...

Squirmy65ghyg · 06/10/2017 07:39

Well done OP. You're doing great.

OccasionalNachos · 06/10/2017 07:41

Cross post!

I get you, OP. 9am travel will be ok, the roads will be a little quieter & trains less busy. Wear comfortable shoes if you’re doing a lot of walking

Wetcappuccino · 06/10/2017 08:32

Get a coffee and croissant at the station OP! And listen to a good podcast while you're travelling. Always perks me up.

Ninjakittysmells · 06/10/2017 09:22

Did you make the train okay OP? I literally sit on the bed every morning after my shower feeling exactly as you described. There’s something about being damp and needing to put clothes on that takes an inordinate amount of energy!

SloeSloeQuickQuickGin · 06/10/2017 09:23

Did you mean to put this earth shattering event on your FB status or something ?

Ninjakittysmells · 06/10/2017 09:31

@sloe, the op has made an update where she has agrophobia due to being attacked.

EdmundCleverClogs · 06/10/2017 10:36

Ninjakittysmells, more like a huge dripfeed. As sympathetic as I am to agoraphobia, people reading the op aren't mind readers. People reading the first couple of posts from the op can't know it was difficult to leave the house when they only mentioned having a shower and not finding some oil Hmm.

letsdolunch321 · 06/10/2017 10:39

You got up, made the effort.... Big up to you 👍🏻

Enjoy the day with your relatives
