you have diagnosed overactive thyroid what you signs/symptoms were? What happened when you were diagnosed?
Routine GP appt a few weeks ago showed fast resting pulse. 24 ECG showed 10+ episodes of palpitations but otherwise rhythm is normal. Being referred to Palpitations clinic to see if any further action needs to be taken. GP has taken bloods as they want to rule out overactive thyroid. I’ve never really thought about it but GP looked back at recent appts and the things I’ve gone for all point to this. Get blood results at the end of the week.
I’ve had a look online (nhs website) and I do seem to show many of the symptoms. If bloods show I do have an overactive thyroid what happens next?
