To ask how the internet/porn has changed relationships

This is a question for the over 40 crowd.

Reading the threads on Relationships, it seems so many relationship issues relate back to the internet and its many tools.

Webcam and cam sites
Porn sites and addiction
Death grip or delayed ejaculation
Cheating via easy messaging or hook up sites

For those of you old enough to remember the good old pre-internet days, whats been your experience? What shifts have you noticed in relationships as a result of the internet?

This reads very much like someone asking for help with an article

No AF don't worry, sorry if the tone is a bit clinical. It's just literally almost every Relationships thread contains one of the elements mentioned. It makes me think that for someone of my generation ("millennial") we're quite blasé about it, or at least it doesnt come as a surprise to uear about these issues. But for someone of an older generation, it must be like..."WTF is going on?" Particularly women who got married in the pre-internet days and then maybe divorced and are bacl dating but with this whole new minefield.

A lot of it is media hype and some of it is horrendous, it just depends on the individual. My dp is 35 and grown up with porn being within easy reach and obviously online dating is now the norm. But he’s still just a normal guy who has a wank here and surprisingly I’m the first woman he has come across with shaved pubic hair! So not every man fits in a certain box!
