the car just wont start?

Can you unlock and lock the car with your fob? Or has that stopped working also?

it opens but if my finance trys to put the clutch down and press the button it just doesnt work. he has had a diagnostic person out and they have said they cant get a reading.

It opens how? are you using the fob to unlock it or are you turning the key in the lock?

checked the battery, the fuses, jumped started it. bought a knew key. and nothing has worked

What happened when you jump started it?

hold on, is it that the electronic key fob isn't working? you can try changing the battery. If it's the same fob as us, you take the key out, you can split the fob in two, and there is a round flat battery inside.

Have you got a spare key fob somewhere to try that first?

If the battery is weak in the fob it might open the doors but not start the car.

it came up with over 12 volts on the battary, the battary for the fob has been changed. It just dead. trie dit all hes turned the key on its back on the button and started it but obvs it wouldnt start. used the spre jey and nothing still.

Could be lots of things. Gonna have to take it to a mechanic sorry. Probably a mazda dealer...

Does it have an ignition key entry at all ? My car button wouldn’t work and I was told to insert key and press button a few times in the ignition to sync it up again , of course if it’s completely keyless then that’s useless advice .
