Selling sites and "viewing"

I'm selling a piece of furniture of a selling site. It's less than half the price to buy new and it's immaculate as wasn't used (someone gave me a better one so I used that instead) anyway I had someone offer me half the price it's listed for, which I declined. They then asked for my address to "view" it! Is it just me?! You either want something or you don't! It's not a flaming kitten or puppy that you may wanna meet first. It's a piece of furniture. The way the site works is that you "buy" things on there so you click "buy" aibu in thinking this is ott to want to view it? There is a picture on the site and it's measurements.

I think with something large and expensive(?) it's wise to view first. I've sold a sofa and happily accepted viewings even though I had clear measurements and good photos etc

It's a tv stand, £10.

YABU they obv want to view with the intention of buying it. Why on earth would they commit to buying a large item without viewing?

Ok, just noticed it's £10 Grin
I wouldn't worry I'm pretty sure they will take it, as long as it's as described.

I wish I had viewed first before I handed over £12 for a lamp.

Got it home and it was broken!!!
