what do you do with your DCs' school work books

just posting for traffic.

DC are in primary and every year we get piles of work books send home. I have stored them but going through a big clearing out ATM.

Do you just chuck them out or keep them? If you keep them, is there a good reason or just sentimentality. I am tempted to take the whole load to the skip...

I kept all of them in a cupboard in the garage for 'sentimental' reasons. My boys are now 16 & 18 and we have no garage, I asked them what to do with them and they rolled their eyes and said bin them.

I tend to get rid the moment they come home with this stuff on the last school day. we live in a tiny flat and wouldn't have space to store it.

I've just found dh's junior 1 books tucked away in his old desk.
He wrote a poem about sneezing and had much better handwriting back then.
Keep them 30 years to give his future wife a chuckle!
