Houses around here all have paper thin walls. We tend to be a fairly quiet family I put telly on breakfast and after dinner. Its never loud. Previous neighbours where shockingly loud so one side love us and how they never hear us, newish neighbours have remarked a couple of times on me playing music, which of course is on weekends but not too loud or too late apart from once which i did apologise about as they had mentioned yet it wasnt loud ifkwim. Every morning I wake because they are so loud, they wake up but the screaming at 7 -7:30 am is driving me mad. I like them and dont want to cause offence but I liked my Saturday morning lie in, what should I do/Say or just wait. I understand kids are kids. This is screaming and shouting, bannging doors thing

When my DCs were young my childless neighbours asked me to try to keep the children quiet until about 12ish at the weekends. The rest of the time not one word was ever said about any noise my DCs made. I totally understood and my DC were told and they accepted that.
Try holding the conversation and see what they say.
(it suited me too to have quieter DCs at the weekends and say it was the neighbours request lol.)
