I have been told that a former colleague of mine is starting his training as a police officer.
This is a guy who sexually harassed several colleagues and sexually assaulted me then continued to harrass me.
He plays the 'I'm so inexperienced.' and 'I'm so sorry.' cards and then carries on with his vile behaviour.
I can't believe he is going to be in a position of trust with vulnerable women.

Well of course YANBU. Did you report the assault?

RavingRoo · 29/09/2017 16:30

There might be a way to tell the recuiting force know. Have you tried contacting someone?

NC4now · 29/09/2017 16:30

Was he ever reported for these things? The application procedure for the police is really strict and they do a full background search. Unfortunately if he hasn't been convicted it won't come up though.

Stupidly no I didn't. I felt like such an idiot. Our employers knew though because several colleagues reported him.
