I think the current MN laughing emoji looks way more like an evil grin than a 'lol'. It almost looks smug to me, rather than amused! Who laughs with that many teeth anyway?!

I think only people on mobile can see normal ones. I've seen people moaning about people who use them because they can't see them so they find it annoying when anybody else uses them 😒
