Not leered at, or catcalled, but you know, when you're walking in the street and a guy looks at you and lingers...

Two years and twenty pounds ago, I got that fairly often.

Now? Nah. I miss it.

And being called "young lady", not "ma'am"!

To be fair, the one who called me ma'am was a teenage girl but still.

I quite fancy being called ma'am! It sounds either American (and therefore glamorous) or as though I am a Dame. Like Judi Dench.

'Young lady' sounds like I'm being told off!

But I'd be grateful for leering and/or catcalling at my age!

Naw, I always feel scrutinised.

According to my partner a few months ago, a guy in a truck looked at him, then at me, then at him again and gave him an approving nod and a smile. I didn't notice.

When I'm alone all these looks seem judging. I'm obese and unattractive and I have real issues with anxiety, so I'd rather no one looked my way!

No, I don't like it. If I catch men looking at me I always think it's because I've got food round my mouth or pen on my face or I've been unintentionally making a funny thinking face.
